Newport Gwent Dragons Squad to Face Glasgow

Newport Gwent Dragons have not beaten Glasgow since the Welshmen won 23-11 at Rodney Parade in the PRO12 in September 2010, a sequence which includes two draws.

The men of Gwent will be looking to rectify this and their away losing streak this Friday night.

Injury update from Head Physiotherapist Ben Searle, “Rhys Thomas is back in light training after injuring his ankle a few weeks ago, hopefully he will be back available for selection in two weeks or so. Darren Waters is progressing well and will also be back in training soon.

“Jonathan Evans picked up a shoulder injury against Wasps and it looks like he will be out for around six weeks or so. Luc Jones also picked up an injury last weekend so he is out at the moment.

“Jack Dixon still has a long way to go, but is again progressing well and Adam Hughes has a foot injury and will be out for 2-3 weeks. Tom Prydie picked up a hamstring strain whilst training with Wales so he will be out for around 4-6 weeks and Lewis Robling will also be out for 4-6 after minor key hole surgery on his knee for a clean out.
