Dragons Academy product Joe Davies made his senior Dragons appearance in 2013, in a Welsh regional derby against Scarlets in the LV=Cup.

The lock shone at U16s and U18s age grade level with the Dragons before taking on the Premiership with Bedwas.

A former Newport High School, who is currently studying Sports Management at Cardiff Met, Davies was named in the Wales Under-20s squad for the 2014 Six Nations, where he made six appearances for his country.
