Lock Huw Taylor marked his first game on loan at Bedford Blues with a try as the English Championship romped to a 52-29 victory over league newcomers Caldy on Saturday.
The result saw Bedford secure a third successive Championship victory for the first time since December 2018.
Mike Rayer’s side were rampant in the first half, with Taylor scoring one of six tries as they led 38-5 at the break.
Meanwhile, hooker Ellis Shipp stated as Hartpury University were defeated 19-15 by Richmond in London.
