Dragons in the Community in October

The WRU community team in the Dragons region works in partnership with Dragons staff in delivering rugby coaching, skills sessions and player visits to schools and clubs.

During October a number of events took place, with a lot of community activity taking place around the Dragons friendly match with Hong Kong in Ebbw Vale.

A CPD course at Abergavenny RFC kicked off the month and sessions also took place at Monmouth RFC, Abertillery Learning Community, Rhymney RFC, Whiteheads RFC and New Tredegar RFC.

A floodlit festival took place at Abertillery while Dragons Community Manager Mike Sage ran an engagement event at Blaenau GwentYouth Service.
