Warren Gatland's men are on their best winning run since 2005 which is also their most successful since the New Zealander took charge.

An early penalty try on top of touchdowns from Dan Biggar, a brace from Liam Williams, Steff Evans, Tomos Williams, Morgan, Hill, Aled Davies and Rhys Patchell saw them crush their visitors.

Outside-half Biggar was outstanding, scoring 19 points in a man-of-the match performance while Patchell also contributed 13 points.

To their credit the Tongans contributed to an enthralling Test match with three tries of their own courtesy of Leva Fifita, Steve Mafi and Sione Vailanu while Sonatane Takulua scored nine points.

But Wales were in no mood to take prisoners and this was their biggest winning margin since thrashing Namibia 81-7 in New Plymouth at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
