Keddie and Benjamin recently signed new contracts with the region and both were offered the opportunity to donate money to a club or school of their choosing.

With Keddie opting to give his donation to Caerleon RFC and Benjamin selecting the mini and junior section of Whiteheads RFC, neither players hesitated to make their choices.

They both join Leon Brown, who donated to his old high school St Joseph’s RC High School, in giving back through the Dragons Pathway Recognition Award Scheme.

With James Benjamin donating his money before the Dragons win over Bordeaux-Begles at Rodney Parade. It was Keddie who had the chance to give the cheque to Caerleon RFC before the season ended. “It’s great that we have been given the opportunity to recognise clubs that helped with our development,” said Keddie.

He continued: “Caerleon RFC were an easy choice to make and I look forward to seeing what they do with the donation I have given to them."
