Dragons' Fixture Updates for 2018

Kick off times and selections for rounds 14-17 in the Guinness PRO14 championship and the remainder of the Anglo-Welsh fixtures have been confirmed.

January sees the Anglo-Welsh fixtures return with the Dragons travelling to Hendon to take on Saracens at Allianz Park on Saturday 27th January, KO 15:00. The following week, this competition continues as the Men of Gwent host Worcester Warriors at Rodney Parade on Friday 2nd February, KO 19:30.

The Dragons then return to PRO14 action as the Welsh Region remain at Rodney Parade to host Glasgow Warriors on Friday 9th February, KO 19:35.

The remainder of February sees the Men of Gwent take on Benetton Rugby at Rodney Parade on Sunday 18th February, KO 15:30, with Edinburgh also making the trip to Wales at the end of the month with the fixture date yet to be confirmed.

The month of March then sees the Dragons make their first journey to South Africa to take on the Southern Kings on Friday 2nd March with the Dragons then hosting Toyota Cheetahs the following week with this match date still to be confirmed.

This season the updated fixtures for Rounds 14 to 17 have been finalised earlier than before and David Jordan, Tournament Director for PRO14 Rugby, highlighted the efforts of all involved.

"Arranging fixtures across five countries while also taking into account clubs’ kick-off preferences and stadium availability is always a challenging one," Jordan said. "We have eight broadcast partners who work very hard with us when it comes to fixture selections and to create so much certainty right up to Round 17 and beyond is very satisfying.

"Naturally, now that we have two South African teams in the Championship there are some new factors for us to consider, such as long-haul travel, but the diversity of the Guinness PRO14 is what gives it such a unique appeal. All in all, we have produced these fixtures earlier than we have in the past and I’d like to thank our broadcasters and clubs for getting such a good result."
