Dee Cited

Dragons Hooker Elliot Dee will face a citing panel tomorrow (Friday) following the Boxing Day clash with Cardiff Blues.

A Disciplinary Hearing Committee will meet in Edinburgh on Friday, December 29 to consider a Citing Complaint made against Elliot Dee (No 2) of Dragons Rugby against Cardiff Blues on December 26, 2017.

The incident occurred in the 77th minute of the Guinness PRO14 Round 11 fixture at Rodney Parade when the player made contact with referee Andrew Brace.

The player has been reported by the Citing Commissioner in charge for alleged infringement of Law 10.4 (m) – Acts contrary to good sportsmanship. A player must not do anything that is against the spirit of good sportsmanship in the playing enclosure.

The player will face a Hearing Committee via video conference, the Committee will comprise of John Kirk (Chair), Rory Bannerman and Ian Douglas (all Scotland).
 
Dragons are likely to be without Hallam Amos who picked up an injury in the derby to add to the Dragons injury woes along with Leon Brown who is still a doubt after suffering concussion with Wales.
