The Dragons got off to a good start and after what can only be described at a stunning final 20minutes the Men of Gwent sealed the win against a tough French side.

The Welsh Region made a great start to the game taking the lead with two Nick Macleod penalties within the first 10 minutes.  The Dragons added to their lead after the Frenchmen were pinged for being offside, this saw a quick tap and Rynard Landman end up over the whitewash. Macleods conversion extend the lead to 13-0 on the 12 minute marker.

The next score saw the opposition fly-half Thomas Laranjeira cross under the posts, thanks to his own kick and chase. He converted to narrow the score to 13-7. The visitors added three extra points thanks to the boot of Laranjeira which saw the scores go to 13-10.

Macloed got the chance to add three points but the penalty was missed and Laranjeira slotted another kick before half time to tie the scores on 13-13.
