The huge structure is used extensively on match days and also for hosting many business and hospitality events.
Friends of Newport Rugby contributed £5,000 towards the project and this funding has been used to improve the underfoot conditions around the marquee.
FoNR's Mike Frost handed over a cheque for the project to Rodney Parade Sales Manager, Dai Jenkins. He commented: “This kind donation from FoNR is another great example of the club working with the supporters trust to provide improvements to the infrastructure here at Rodney Parade.
“The cash provided compliments the excellent investment that We Fight Any Claim have made here and we are delighted to now have this excellent facility available all year round.”
