The 30-year-old, who signed for the Dragons last season, made just three appearances for the Region in the LV=Cup. Young also made appearances for Welsh Premiership sides Newport RFC and Cross Keys.
The tight-head prop, originally from Belfast, began his career in the English Premiership when he signed for Leicester Tigers. Young has also enjoyed stints with Gloucester, Edinburgh Rugby and Jersey, as well as having honours from Scotland’s U18s, U19s and U21s.
