Griffiths who played in last years final against Gloucester and helped the Dragons win the Welsh leg of the tournament, has failed a late fitness test and will sit out this year’s final.
18-year-old Gasson is a Dragons academy prospect having come up through the age grades. The versatile winger has most recently played for Welsh Premiership team Bedwas during their win against Neath Rugby.
