Dee looking forward to Blues return Derby

Wales Under-20 International Elliot Dee scored his first try for Newport Gwent Dragons when they beat rivals Cardiff Blues on Boxing Day.

The Men of Gwent will play the Blues on New Years Day after beating their neighbours 23-17, in their second ever win over the Blues at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.

The 20-year-old hooker was handed a start on Boxing Day after T. Rhys Thomas suffered a groin strain during the pre-match warmup.

Dee admits that the Dragons face a touch task if they are to complete the double over the Blues on New Years Day at Rodney Parade, "It was my first Christmas derby; a first game against the Blues and it lived up to everything I expected it to be.

"We said straight after the game about not getting ahead of ourselves, we have to perform again and get the double victory.

"Last year we won the home game but discipline cost us in Cardiff. We have done the hard task of winning away but can't get complacent and have to put in another massive performance because they are a wounded animal and will come at us hard."

With just 150 seats left in the Hazell Stand, tickets are selling fast. Click here to buy yours now and avoid disappointment.
