Dragons take extended squad to face Bristol RFC

Newport Gwent Dragons have named an extended squad to face Bristol RFC, in their first pre-season clash of the season.

The Men of Gwent will travel to Clifton RFC, where they will take on the English side on Sunday 17th August, KO 15:00.

Director of rugby Lyn Jones has named a 26-man squad for the Cribbs Causeway Clash.

New recruits Lee Byrne, Aled Brew, Boris Stankovich, Lloyd Fairbrother, Ian Gough, Rynard Landman. James Thomas and Andy Powell have all been named in the clash. Along with young guns Ashton Hewitt and Angus O’Brien who moved into the senior squad from the Dragons academy during the summer.
