Newport Gwent Dragons line up against the Scarlets at Rodney Parade this Friday (7:05pm) looking to finish 2011 in style and kick start the second half of the season.
The Dragons have named a 27 man squad for the game composed of last week’s 25 man squad, including late addition Matthew Pewtner, with scrum half Jonathan Evans and hooker Rhys Buckley also brought in to prepare for the Dragons first home derby match of the season.
The Men of Gwent have won their last three games against fellow Welsh opponents at Rodney Parade (Scarlets 26-9; Ospreys 32-28; Blues 28-15) and are unbeaten at home in the RaboDirect PRO12 this season.
