BLUES INVITE DRAGONS TO JOIN THE PARTY

Newport Gwent Dragons visit the Cardiff City Stadium for the second time this season on Saturday, having played them already in a pre season friendly.

It's 70's night at the match which kicks off on Saturday 18 September at 6.30pm, and the Blues are urging both sets of fans to get into the spirit of things and don their best 70's costumes for the evening, which promises to be another great event.
The Cardiff Blues supporters' quarter under the Canton Stand has already hosted two themed nights with the Martyn Williams Testimonial match carrying a Beach Party theme and a Back to School theme for the Edinburgh game. Thousands of supporters have already enjoyed the entertainment and the Blues are encouraging more fans to turn up for the 70's night match.
Speaking ahead of the game Cardiff Blues back row forward Maama Molitika said,
"I think the themed events are fantastic. They really add to the atmosphere for the supporters especially those who visit the Supporters Quarter under the Canton stand."
"All the players who aren't playing in the matches go along to meet the fans and the feedback that we've had from them has been great."
"The 70's theme should be a lot of fun and we enjoyed dressing up for the photos although some of the players did say I looked like Shaft."
Tickets for the match, priced from £24 for a family of four, are available online at www.cardiffblues.com/tickets or by calling the ticket office on 0845 3451400
