Newport Gwent Dragons' USA duo Mike Hercus and Paul Emerick both played starring roles in the USA's victory over Uruguay which sees them into the Rugby World Cup in 2007.
The USA won the second leg of their two-match qualifier at Stanford Universtoy 33-7 with Emerick scoring a brace of tries and Hercus kicking 13 points.
The Americans will join Pool A along with reigning World Cup Champions England, South Africa, Samoa and another qualifier.
Speaking after the match Eagles captain Mike Hercus said, "We qualified for the World Cup so I am happy about that. We could have scored a lot more points. We just didn't adjust to the referee's calls like we should have. But that is something that will come with time."
