Narraway to Support Charity Match

12/08/2021

Dragons forwards coach Luke Narraway will be supporting a charity match in memory of former player Jack Adams by playing for Gloucester Legends on Sunday, September 5.

Narraway made 178 appearances, scoring 16 tries, during his nine-year stay at Kingsholm and will be captaining the Gloucester Legends side as they take on Bristol Legends.

The event takes place in memory of former Gloucester Rugby player, Jack Adams, who sadly lost a short battle with Cancer in June 2021 after a shock diagnosis in April.

On Sunday 5 September, Kingsholm stadium will host a Memorial Day to pay tribute to the devoted family man, who leaves behind his wife Abbie and children Alfie, Florence and Tate.

During his playing career, Jack played for the Cherry and Whites, Bristol, Moseley, Cinderford and Chinnor as well as representing England on the international 7s circuit.

The day itself will be a celebration of Jack’s life with mini and community rugby games as well as a Gloucester Legends vs Bristol Legends fixture.

They will also be joined by two leading podcasts: 'The Good, the Bad and the Rugby' and 'The Rugby Pod' who will be doing live shows on the day.

Proceeds from the day will support Abbie and the children.

Tickets are priced at £10 per adult and £7.50 per child and can be purchased here.

The running order will be:
1200: Gates open
1230: Junior Rugby matches (teams TBC)
1330: St. Peter's Old Boys vs. Gloucester Combination Select
1530: Gloucester Legends vs. Bristol Legends
